Recycling Award Winners Announced

At the July 15 City Council meeting, City Council President William Rozell announced the winner of the "Look Who Is Recycling" for the second quarter of 2024. Rumpke of Ohio, Inc., the city's curbside recycling contractor, runs the program as a tool to encourage residential recycling. Awards are given quarterly to City of Troy residents who actively recycle and share their reasons for doing so.

This quarter's winners are Kyle and Jessica Jackson of Windridge Place. For the question, "Why do you recycle?" the Jacksons wrote, "We want to do our part in help reduce items going to the landfills that could have been recycled.
