Dechert Advises Quest Diagnostics on Acquisition of University Hospitals' Outreach Laboratory Services Business

Dechert LLP advised Quest Diagnostics, a leading provider of diagnostic information services, on a definitive agreement to acquire select assets of the outreach laboratory services business of University Hospitals.

The transaction is set to close in Q4 2024 and aims to expand access in Ohio to Quest's leading test menu, convenient patient access sites and extensive health plan coverage, enhancing affordable care in the state.

University Hospitals is one of the nation's leading nonprofit health systems and academic medical centers.

The Dechert team advising Quest diagnostics included corporate partner Michael Darby along with associates Joshua Kim, Nathalie Noura and Cate Hillin.
