Northbound Lane Closed on S Franklin St between Water Street and Channelside Drive for Emergency Repair

Effective immediately, the northbound lane on S Franklin St between Water Street and Channelside Drive is closed while department crews begin emergency repairs on a wastewater mainline pipe. Northbound traffic is being detoured to Water Street. Signage and traffic control devices are in the area to assist with rerouting and traffic flow. Motorists are advised to consider alternate routes and use caution when driving in the area. Access will be maintained for residences and businesses in the area.

Repair and restoration work is scheduled to be completed by Monday, June 26. Normal traffic patterns will then resume. A map of the work area and recommended detour route is embedded below.
