Lakeview Drive murder suspect found and arrested in Kentucky

The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) has charged Kiarah Donque Jones, 34, of Huntsville with murder for a deadly shooting that happened in the 3000 block of Lakeview Drive around 5 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 17.

HPD officers responded to the area for a shooting, where they located James Grays, 35, of Huntsville with a gunshot wound. Grays was pronounced dead at the scene.

After gathering evidence from the scene, HPD obtained a warrant for Jones on Wednesday, Nov. 20. He was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals in Lexington, Kentucky on Friday, Nov. 22.

HPD will now shift its focus to working with the Madison County District Attorney's Office to ensure the successful prosecution of this murder.
