Search committee named for next vice president and athletic director

President Michael R. Lovell has named a search committee to identify the next vice president and athletic director. The committee, which comprises faculty, staff, an assistant dean and a trustee, will be chaired by Dr. Kati Berg, associate professor and associate dean for academic affairs in the Diederich College of Communication and faculty athletics representative.

In addition to Berg, the committee members include:

• Steve Bailey, head coach of men's golf
• Sarah Bobert, executive associate athletic director/senior woman administrator
• Steve Frieder, senior advisor to the president and corporate secretary
• Kevin Frisinger, member of the Marquette Board of Trustees; vice president and senior investment consultant at Robert W. Baird & Co.
• Jaime McGaver, assistant athletic director, compliance
• Tim McMahon, vice president for University Advancement
• Dr. Karen Robinson, interim assistant dean for graduate programs in the College of Nursing and former Marquette student-athlete

Collegiate Sports Associates will assist with the search.
