Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa to celebrate Elvis’ birthday with ELVIS 90 commemorative shows

TULSA, Okla. - Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa will celebrate Elvis Presley's birthday with two Elvis 90 commemorative shows in January. The celebrations will kick off on Elvis' birthday, Wednesday, Jan. 8, featuring a performance by acclaimed Elvis tribute artist Travis Ledoyt, followed by the electrifying and historic production "One Night in Memphis" on Saturday, Jan. 18.

"One Night in Memphis" tickets start at $24.50 and go on sale Sept. 27. One Star Rewards cardholders will receive free admission to the Travis Ledoyt show.

Often hailed as "the world's best young Elvis," Ledoyt's uncanny resemblance to the young Elvis, combined with his powerful vocals and dynamic stage presence provides an authentic and electrifying performance. Ledoyt has earned high praise from artists who knew Elvis personally, and he has opened shows for Sun Records legend Jerry Lee Lewis and blues legend B.B. King.

"One Night in Memphis" will celebrate the legendary story and music of Memphis' Million Dollar Quartet jam session featuring Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins. The production recreates the historic night in December 1956 when a chance encounter turned into a recorded jam session between Cash, Presley, Lewis and Perkins at Sun Studios in Memphis. The show will transport audiences back to one of the most iconic moments in music history with uncanny accuracy, bringing the spirit and sounds of the four rock 'n' roll pioneers to life.

The production features a meticulously prepared cast of musicians who not only look like their counterparts but have studied their mannerisms, vocal styles and musical techniques with great attention to detail. Audiences can expect to hear classic hits such as "Blue Suede Shoes," "Folsom Prison Blues," "Great Balls of Fire" and "Hound Dog" performed with the same energy and passion as the original artists.
