Horizon Bank Announces the Promotion of Katie Dorion as AVP, Branch Manager

Michigan City, Indiana - Anne Filsinger, VP, District Manager, proudly announces the promotion of Katie Dorion as AVP, Branch Manager at our Midland, Michigan location on Jefferson Avenue.

Dorion embarked on her banking career in 2008 with Chemical Bank as a Teller. Over the years, she has held various positions, including Teller, Customer Service Representative, and Assistant Branch Manager, overseeing two offices before being promoted to Branch Manager in 2018.

Her career has been marked by significant growth and adaptability. Dorion navigated through several bank mergers, before joining Horizon Bank in 2020. Through these changes, Katie has demonstrated remarkable leadership by managing both the Midland Eastman and Jefferson offices.

Dorion's commitment to the Midland community is evident through her extensive volunteer work and active participation in local events. She regularly volunteers in schools and serves as Treasurer for Senior Services. Dorion is also a dedicated member of the Kiwanis Club and the Home Builders Association. Her passion for animal welfare shines through her support of the Humane Society of Midland County, where she attends events and volunteers regularly.
