Welcome New Bulldogs! Bulldog Beginnings: Part II Coming This Weekend

In July, TLU hosted its second session of Bulldog Beginnings: Part I, welcoming around 700 incoming students along with their families and supporters.

Bulldog Beginnings is a two-part program designed to orient students to life at TLU and provide the best possible start to a successful education. It's an opportunity for new Bulldogs to meet their fellow classmates, adjust to a new environment, develop friendships, and become involved in a new community.

"Bulldog Beginnings helps students to set the tone for the school year," says Jessica Anderson, Director of First-Year Experience and Student Transitions. "During Bulldog Beginnings, students begin building community, exploring all the school has to offer, and getting answers to those last-minute questions so they can start the first week with confidence."

Bulldog Beginnings: Part II, scheduled for check-in/move-in weekend August 24-25, will include a picnic, matriculation ceremony, freshman class photo, and a First Year Fiesta among other things. Students will have time to get settled into their dorms, buy textbooks, and learn their way around campus before classes begin on August 27.
