SEPTA to Close Susquehanna Road for Rail Improvements in Abington Township

​King of Prussia, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that SEPTA will be performing rail improvements on Susquehanna Road in Abington Township, Montgomery County, beginning Tuesday, September 3.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

• From 9:00 AM Tuesday, September 3, to 8:00 PM Monday, September 9, Susquehanna Road at the intersection with Easton Road is scheduled to be closed and detoured. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Edge Hill Road, Easton Road, Jenkintown Road, and Fitzwatertown Road.
  

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
