Internet Initiative Japan Expands Partnership with Absolute Security to Launch New Cyber Resilience Service

Expanded partnership demonstrates growing global demand for cyber resilience solutions to reduce business disruptions in APAC region

SEATTLE- Absolute Security, a global leader in enterprise cyber resilience, today announced that the company has expanded its MSP relationship with Internet Initiative Japan Inc. (IIJ), one of Japan's leading Internet access and comprehensive network solutions providers. According to the newly signed agreement, IIJ will license Absolute Secure Endpointto launch "IIJ Flex Resilience Service," a new cloud-based device management service designed to prevent information leaks due to lost or stolen PCs.

IIJ is the first Absolute Security partner in Japan to launch a managed security service using Absolute Secure Endpoint. IIJ, an existing strategic OEM partner for Absolute Security, first licensed Absolute Secure Accessin 2022 to launch IIJ Flex Mobility Service/ZTNA,a remote secure access service offering that helps organizations to meet Zero Trust requirements. Today this service protects more than 200,000 devices.

In addition to remote PC locking and powerful data erase, IIJ Flex Resilience Service provides visualization of IT asset status and automatic restoration of security software to reduce the risk of information leaks in the event of PC loss, theft or unauthorized removal, and to improve recovery of IT assets to a protected state. This service can remotely lock PCs in the event of an accident and prevent malicious data recovery using recovery software through powerful data erasure.
