Honors

Eva Harrison, and Catrina Murphy, Research and Sponsored Programs, received "Future of the Field" distinctions from the Society of Research Administrators International (SRAI). The honor recognizes research administrators demonstrating leadership among their peers and institutions in innovative ways that advance the field. They will be formally recognized at SRAI's Annual Meeting in Chicago this October.

Publications

Ali Riaz, POL, published the following:

• Bangladesh student protests are more than about reducing public service job quotas in Benar News on July 17, 2024.
• Lessons from four elections: More challenges to democracy ahead in The Daily Star on July 9, 2024.

Rajeev Goel, ECO, and James Jones, Katie School of Insurance, along with Savatore Capasso of the University of Naples Parthenope, co-authored a research article titled, "COVID-19 vaccine variety and dimensions of risks: What factors induced nations to introduce multiple vaccines?" in The World Economy.
