Guangdong Huizhou Power Plant Phase II Project Won the Golden Purple Bamboo Award

Phase II project of Guangdong Huizhou Power Plant, titled "5G Fully-Connected Plant", was recognized as one of the top ten benchmark cases for 5G fully-connected factories in 2023, and honored the Golden Purple Bamboo Award at the Communications Industry Conference 2023 and the 18th Communications Technology Conference.

The Golden Purple Bamboo Award is widely regarded as a prestigious accolade. This recognition highlights the professional capabilities and innovative spirit of Huizhou Power Plant in advancing the digital transformation and development of power plants. The "5G Fully-Connected Plant" Phase II project employs a set of MEC (server + system software) and 5G media UPF (software) to collect, encrypt, and transmit business data at each stage, establishing a more convenient and efficient data transmission channel. The 5G private network deployed in this project is the first private network project featuring 5G core network sinking deployment in Huizhou Daya Bay Petrochemical Industrial Park. It provides dedicated coverage, network customization, data isolation, and quality assurance for basic connectivity networks, achieving high-bandwidth, low-latency, and secure data transmission to meet the communication service needs at various stages.

The project, utilizing the intelligent power plant as the carrier, end-to-end data flow as the foundation, and 5G networks as support, leverages next-generation information and communications technologies such as cloud computing, big data, industrial Internet of Things, mobile communications, and artificial intelligence, facilitating the automation of execution processes, the intelligent control of management processes, and the intelligent management and decision-making in power plant operations.

As a "Dual Demonstration" project for CHN Energy's domestic BIM and digitization, the Huizhou Power Plant Phase II Project continues to advance its digital transformation. It makes full use of the advantages of 5G resources, actively promotes the in-depth integration of "digital development" and "physical operation", and strives to create a high-standard gas-fired power demonstration program that embodies the characteristics of the era, the traits of CHN Energy, and the features of Huizhou. All these efforts contribute to facilitating CHN Energy's digital transformation and development.
