Touring and Touting the Township

Cranberry leaders had a chance to share the secrets of solid governance on Friday.

Township administrators hosted participants taking part in the International City Managers Association Conference. Taking place all weekend, Friday's activities included The Assistant Chief Administrative Officer Exchange, where municipal leaders from across the country visited and toured their counterparts in Western Pennsylvania.

Cranberry hosted Rita Ramirez, Assistant City Administrator, City of La Vista, Nebraska; Carey Neal, Deputy City Manager, City of Lancaster, Texas; and Julissa Jose-Murray, Chief of Administrative Operations, Police Department, City of Long Beach, California. They were joined by Pine Township leaders, as well as Pine's exchange participants Antonio Lopez, Deputy Town Manager, Town of Miami Lakes, Florida and Heath Lloyd, Chief Development Officer/Assistant City, City of Savannah, Georgia.

The group visited several areas in the Township to see how Cranberry delivers services, leads staff, engages residents, and more.
