Louisiana State Police Investigating Delhi Police Department Officer-Involved Shooting
Richland Parish - On August 11, 2024, shortly before 11:00 p.m., Detectives with the Louisiana State Police Criminal Investigations Division were requested by Delhi Police Department to investigate an officer-involved shooting that occurred in the 7200 block of Highway 17 in Delhi. Investigators are working to process the scene and gather further information.
One subject was pronounced deceased on the scene. No officers or were harmed during the incident. This is an active investigation, and further information will be released when it becomes available.
