Family Fitness Rocks Event Moves to Raising Canes River Center Due to Inclement Weather

Baton Rouge, LA - September 6, 2024 - Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome is excited to announce the return of Family Fitness Rocks, an energetic and engaging evening dedicated to health and wellness.

The event will take place rain or shine on Friday, September 6th, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the Raising Cane's River Center, located at 275 S. River Rd., Baton Rouge, LA, due to inclement weather.

This free event provides families with valuable tools and knowledge for making healthier choices. Attendees can enjoy a diverse lineup of activities, including fitness demonstrations like kickboxing, Zumba, and line dancing, all suitable for various ages and fitness levels. Additionally, the American Heart Association will offer healthy cooking demonstrations, featuring delicious and nutritious meal ideas for families.
