Kent County Offices and Health Clinics Will Be Closed In Observance of Independence Day

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (June 28, 2024) - Kent County offices and Health Department clinics will be closed on Thursday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day.

The Kent County Correctional Facility will remain open with regular hours; however, all other services will be closed.

All Department of Public Works services and facilities will be closed on Thursday, July 4. Normal operations will resume on Friday, July 5 with additional hours scheduled for commercial haulers on Saturday, July 6. The Recycling Center will be open to commercial haulers on July 6, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Waste-To-Energy will be open to commercial haulers on July 6, from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
