Hit and Run Leaves One Severely Injured NR24235dc

Los Angeles:The Los Angeles Police Department's Valley Traffic Division is asking for the public's assistance in locating the driver of a vehicle that was involved in a hit-and-run traffic collision that left a 76-year-old woman with severe injuries.

On Wednesday, August 14, 2024, around 9:05 p.m., a dark colored SUV was traveling westbound on Saticoy Avenue from Van Nuys Boulevard when it struck a pedestrian that was crossing the street on Saticoy Avenue.

The driver failed to stop, identify themselves, and/or render aid to the injured person and fled the scene westbound Saticoy Avenue.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene and transported the severely injured pedestrian to a local hospital for medical treatment.
