Help Review Meridian Playground Play Area Designs

Join us at the Wallingford Farmers Market!

Seattle Parks and Recreation invites the community to participate in the future Meridian Playground. Come meet with the design team and review the play area design options on Thursday, July 31, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Wallingford Farmer's Market, 4800 Meridian Ave N. During this event you'll have the opportunity to review the play area designs, provide input and explore local vendors throughout the market!

This project aims to make site improvements to the play area located within the western half of the former Home of Good Shepherd property. The existing play equipment will be replaced, and accessibility improvements will be made within the play area and the route to the play area by adding synthetic safety surfacing to the site.

Your community participation is encouraged and will help us make the most meaningful improvements to the park. We will be sharing a short survey following the meeting to collect input on your favorite design and play area elements.
