Updates on No Right Turn on Red Signage

As a result of the discussion at the City Council meeting on Dec. 2, the "No Right Turn on Red" signs have been temporarily removed from six recently installed intersections on Bissonnet, Ave. B and Jessamine. The signs currently remain at the intersection of Newcastle and Bellaire.

We have contacted the City's Traffic Engineer for a quote on a traffic study at the intersection of Newcastle and Bellaire. Given the residents' concerns, staff will take this item back to the City Council for further discussion and action on Dec. 16.
