At Home with Merle Burleigh – July 24, 2024

MERLE'S CORNER

Many have been watching the progress of the painting of the water tower on Fremont Street. Some mentioned seeing the "teeny' men working. Now all is undercover as the actual sandblasting and painting take place. The tower was constructed in 1952 and it was last painted in 1990. At that time, the tower was not covered. Buildings and vehicles in the area were the recipients of splatters of paint and rust. merleburl.com
