Work is Progressing on State Route 211 with A Traffic Shift Coming Monday

Construction continues on State Route 211 by Pinot Noir and Tuscany drive with the opening of the two roundabouts.

WHAT: Georgia Department of Transportation (Georgia DOT) and contractor CMES will shift traffic westbound on SR 211 beginning at the I-85 bridge goint to Tuscany Drive. The traffic will shift motorists onto the roundabouts and temporary roadways while the permanent full depth and drainage construction is being done..
Traffic on the I-85 exit ramp will also be shifted and the right turn lane will be closed.

WHEN: The traffic shift will occur on Monday August 19, 20, 2024.

WHERE:. This operation will impact traffic on SR 211.

Delays are anticipated. Consider alternate routes.

Advisory: Exact dates may change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are cautioned to reduce their speed while traveling through work zones, stay alert, and watch for workers. Before heading out, get real-time information on work status and traffic conditions by calling 511, visiting 511ga.org, or downloading the Georgia 511 app.
