Upcoming BNSF Ag Car Program Changes Impacting Lottery and Tariff Programs Effective August 1, 2024

Effective August 1, 2024, the following changes applying to all Lottery and Tariff car order requests will be made to BNSF Ag Car Programs:

BNSF will discontinue the 24-car "Unit" Lottery and Tariff programs and associated rate items. Specific rule changes may be found in the lottery and tariff rules on the BNSF Customer Portal.

To summarize the changes being made:

• Lottery and Tariff Unit car programs will be eliminated.
• Lottery and Tariff Single car order maximums will be increased from 15 to 48 cars per order (or maximum track capacity, but no more than 48).
• Note regarding demurrage: Please see Demurrage Tariff Book BNSF 6004-C on the BNSF Customer Portal. Standard demurrage tariff rates apply and will be based on each individual car.
