LEADER JEFFRIES STATEMENT ON REP. SUSAN WILD

Washington, DC - Today, Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries released the following statement:

Since entering Congress as part of the historic Class of 2018, Susan Wild has been a strong voice and spirited fighter for the people she represents in the Lehigh Valley. As Ranking Member of the House Ethics Committee, Susan has been a tremendous advocate for good governance, bipartisanship and making sure the House of Representatives lives up to its promise as the institution closest to the people.

Susan's resilience in the face of hardship has been a source of inspiration and strength for our House Democratic Caucus family. She has championed life-saving legislation to address the nation's mental health crisis and helped lead the charge on lowering the cost of prescription drugs for hardworking American families.

Susan will be greatly missed in the People's House and we wish her and her family the best as she begins this next chapter.
