What You Need to Know: BC Law Enforcement Memorial Parade

The BC Law Enforcement Memorial Parade takes place on Sunday, September 29, 2024, from noon to 3 p.m.

Where:
The parade will begin in the 700 block of Government Street, in front of the Empress and march to the BC Legislature via Superior and Menzies Streets.

Getting to and from the event:
Visitors are encouraged to walk, cycle or take transit. Please expect road closures and some traffic delays in the area.

Expect road closures from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on the 700 block of Government Street. Rolling closures will take place from 12:20 to 2:30 p.m. on the rest of the route.

Streets will reopen once the parade clears, subject to the discretion of the police. Please take alternative routes during this time. Signage will be posted in areas where parking will be affected.
