Earthjustice is elated to announce two new trustees to the organization's Board: David Yeh and Rehka Rao.

David Yeh is a veteran investor and venture capitalist working on scaling first-of-a-kind financing for gigaton-scale climate solutions. Yeh helped lead sustainable infrastructure and investments under President Obama, and has a vast portfolio of impact investments including Tesla, Procore, Climate Exchange, Opus One, and Fervo. He is an advisor and Board Member at Dartmouth's Irving Institute for Energy and Society, Confluence Philanthropy, The Climate Trust, Terra Alpha Investments, and several climate startups. Yeh also brings years of experience as a lecturer, speaker, and writer at The Wall Street Journal, Council of Foreign Relations, Stanford University, SXSW, and the World Economic Forum.

"I cannot think of an organization that has a greater impact on climate and equity than Earthjustice, the unsung hero for climate gamechangers that fights for their right to a healthy and habitable planet," says Yeh. "I am proud to join this fight as a trustee."

"We are thrilled that David has joined the Earthjustice Board", says Earthjustice President Abigail Dillen. "He is a driving force for investment in climate solutions. The insight he brings to bear from his experience in government and in the private sector is exactly on point as Earthjustice works to spur faster change in this make-or-break decade for our climate."

Rekha Rao is a lawyer and clean energy policy expert with over 15 years of experience in state and federal regulatory and legislative policy. She is currently U.S. Electricity Senior Initiative Director for Climate Imperative.

"As someone who has worked in climate policy for over 15 years, I've seen first hand the value of Earthjustice's litigation and advocacy in this space", says Rao. "I am very excited to be able to participate in a small way in helping the organization achieve its goals."

Rao was previously at PG&E, where she led a policy team responsible for developing and coordinating state and federal renewable and climate policy and strategy across the organization and collaborating with key stakeholders, such as other investor-owned utilities, environmental organizations, and labor unions. Rao holds a B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a law degree from American University's Washington College of Law.

"Rekha is a deep policy expert with the practical experience to understand what works in real life", says Dillen. "She is shaping effective strategy to transform our energy system every day, and we are so fortunate that she is bringing her tremendous smarts and rigor to the Earthjustice Board."
