Grand Jury Indictment Charging First Degree Murder Issued for 2023 Shooting of Terran Frazier

A grand jury indictment charging first-degree murder has been issued against Donyae Wroten, 22, for the October 2023 fatal shooting of Terran Frazier, 44, in the 1200 block of Phillips Street.

The investigation shows that Wroten planned to rob Frazier over a previous dispute. Wroten fled out of state. He is currently jailed in Louisiana for a parole violation and a drug offense. Wroten will be returned to Nashville once he has completed his Louisiana sentence.
