This week marks the first anniversary of the launch of Choose Kindness, the city-wide movement which champions the power of being kind.

Choose Kindness was launched at Cusworth Hall last September and has gone from strength to strength ever since. Throughout the year, individuals, schools, businesses and communities have been embracing the movement and helping to champion kindness across the city.

Choose Kindness demonstrates acts no matter how big or small can make someone's day and positively affect their wellbeing.

We've pulled together a video looking at how people have embraced the movement in our communities, schools and businesses as well as celebrating the huge spirit of kindness that is alive and well across the city embodied by our wonderful foster carers, Buddies, litter pickers and other volunteers who make such a difference to people, place and planet.
