RCPD Responds to Gunshots at Welsh Park

Shortly after 12:30 p.m. this afternoon, the Rockville City Police Department responded to Welsh Park at 101 Welsh Park Drive for a report of shots being fired. RCPD units arrived on the scene and determined that multiple gunshots had been discharged in the parking lot.

RCPD detectives and crime scene technicians are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. There are no injuries reported at this time. A Black, Honda Civic was seen fleeing the scene after the shots were fired. Anyone with any information or video of the incident is asked to contact RCPD detectives at [email protected]. Those providing information may remain anonymous. This remains an active and ongoing investigation.
