Medical Officer assigned at the General Hospital - Health Center of Kos by decision of the Deputy Minister of National Defence Giannis Kefalogiannis.

By decision of the Deputy Minister of National Defence, Mr. Giannis Kefalogiannis, a medical officer qualified as General Practitioner will be assigned at the General Hospital - Health Center of Kos upon request from the Ministry of Health.

In this context, the Medical Officer will be assigned at the above hospital twice a week for four hours each day, up to 30 days, provided service requirements allows so.

The Deputy Minister of National Defence, Mr. Kefalogiannis, stated the following:

"In the summer, where needs are particularly great, the Armed Forces are once again at the forefront, contributing to the community both at civil protection level and at strengthening Public Health. With a sense of responsibility, we contribute to the more complete health coverage, where possible, of our border regions and provide equal access to the precious asset of health."
