Launch Week ‘24: Customer Identity Solution edition

At Okta, we know it's hard to get security right without getting Identity right. We designed the latest innovations to our Customer Identity Solution to empower businesses to create seamless, secure, and scalable digital experiences.

Customer journeys start at sign-up, so businesses need to meet customers where they are. We're introducing advanced features to provide the flexibility to manage identities more effectively withMultiple identifiers, now Generally Available (GA). Identifiers enable the use of custom profile attributes (i.e. phone number, loyalty number, etc.) Enabling the use of a phone or loyalty number as an identifier is critical for businesses operating in parts of the world where email use is less common. It can also help bolster security, since email addresses are easier to create and expose, making them a preferred credential for bad actors to abuse at sign-up.

Multiple Identifiers

The newSession and Token Correlation in the System Logfeature is now GA. Gain deeper insights into user activities with this feature, as it allows you to trace the lifecycle of sessions and tokens, providing a more comprehensive view of authentication events and improving your ability to detect and respond to suspicious activity.

We understand developers and administrators need greater insights and flexibility. Our new enhancements, including Execution History Inspectorand Execution Log Streaming, both in Early Access, will provide visibility into workflows so you can troubleshoot errors and better understand flow execution metrics.
