Deputy Administrator Isobel Coleman Meets with Ukraine’s Minister of Energy German Galushchenko

Today, Deputy Administrator Isobel Coleman met with Ukraine's Minister of Energy German Galushchenko to discuss Ukraine's urgent energy needs. Deputy Administrator Coleman and Minister Galushchenko discussed USAID's approach to repairing transmission, expanding generation, and helping Ukraine protect critical energy assets. They also discussed humanitarian assistance efforts related to energy. The two agreed to continue close and ongoing coordination in order to bolster Ukraine's energy security and enhance the resiliency of Ukraine's energy system.
