Oct 11, 2024 New names approved for two Mission Based Centers

Oct. 11, 2024 - Two of the Mission Based Centers were recently received approval for new names as voted on by Academic Senate and approved by President Yao.

The Center for International Affairs is now the Center for Global Engagement and the Center for Multicultural Engagement is now the Center for Social Action. Academic Senate passed SP 23-18 to change the names.

In addition to the name changes, study abroad and Center for Global Engagement now share an office in BTW 1145.
