Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) continues to monitor Hurricane Milton's track and has been working directly with the National Weather Service and Miami-Dade Office of Emergency Management. After consultation with the County's emergency officials, Schools Superintendent Dr. Jose L. Dotresannounced that all Miami-Dade County public schools and facilities will remain closed on Thursday, October 10.
To provide ease of access to information regarding M-DCPS' response to Hurricane Milton, the District is reactivating the M-DCPS Support Center from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. to assist stakeholders with questions.
Families can get support in several ways:<_o3a_p>
· The M-DCPS Live Chat is available on the District's website or by texting 1-844-908-1674. <_o3a_p>
· The Live Chat may also be accessed from the Dadeschools mobile app. <_o3a_p>
· Families can also speak with an agent by calling 305-995-HELP. <_o3a_p>
