City of Busselton Annual Sports Awards return for 2024

Nominations are now open for the City's Annual Sports Awards to be held on 22 October 2024.

The Annual Sports Awards recognises and celebrates outstanding achievements and contributions in community sport.

The aim of the awards is to honour and acknowledge individuals, teams, clubs and organisations that have made significant contributions to the sports community in the City of Busselton. This year's award categories include:

Individual Awards

  • Sports Person of the Year
  • Para Athlete of the Year
  • Coach of the Year
  • Official of the Year
  • Volunteer of the Year
  • Lifetime Achievement Award

Club Awards

  • Club of the Year
  • Team of the Year
  • Inclusion Program or Event
  • Club Governance Award
  • Event of the Year

Mayor Phill Cronin said, "The City encourages and supports a healthy, active lifestyle and is extremely proud to again host the sports awards."

"We understand the immense value sport brings to the local community and the need to celebrate our clubs and individuals, their passion, dedication and achievements. We can learn many personal and community values through sport and how it can enrich our lives and bring community together."

Nominations close 27 September 2024.
