TRAFFIC ADVISORY NOTICE
Who: Upcoming Southern California Gas Company improvements require partial lane closures along northbound Mt. Vernon Ave. and Valley Blvd., north of I-10 Freeway.
What: SBCTA's (San Bernardino County Transportation Authority) I-10/Mt. Vernon Interchange Project requires various utility improvements, including improvements from the Southern California Gas Company. Construction of such improvements will require partial northbound lane closures along Mt. Vernon Ave, north of Valley Blvd. and partial lane closures along Valley Blvd., east and west of Mt. Vernon Ave. No full lane closures are expected.
When: Monday, September 16, 2024 - Friday, October 25, 2024
Where: Northbound Mt. Vernon Ave., north of Valley Blvd. and east and westbound Valley Blvd., north of I-10 Freeway.
Why: Safety is very important to the City of Colton. Please drive safely through the construction work area, watch out for workers, pedestrians, and vehicles. Please follow posted signs and remember to drive slowly as reduced speed limits will be enforced in the work zone.
