Cantwell Statement on the Death of Aysenur Eygi

EDMONDS, WA - Today, U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell (D-WA) released the following statement regarding the shooting death of University of Washington graduate Aysenur Eygi at a demonstration in the West Bank.

The death of Aysenur Eygi is a tragedy. My office has been in contact with the State Department and our U.S. Embassy in Israel regarding her death. I will do whatever I can to help her family at this difficult time.

Our hearts and prayers are with her family and her many friends in the greater Seattle area.
