WASHINGTON - On Tuesday, October 1, 2024, Congressman James Comer (R-Ky) recognized local Franklin County law enforcement officers for their commitment and efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of the community. Mr. Shane Terrell, Mr. Ron Wyatt Jr., and Mr. Chris Quire were recently recognized by the National Sheriff's Association and the Kentucky Sheriff's Association for their work.

Mr. Shane Terrell was the recipient of "Reserve Deputy of the Year" for the National Sheriff's Association.
