Blockdaemon Joins Liquid Collective As A Node Operator

Blockdaemon officially joined the Liquid Collective's active set as a Node Operator, becoming the first to join the active set since mainnet launch. This aligns with Blockdaemon's announced plan to join the active set as a Node Operator in May, 2024.

By joining, Blockdaemon deepens its collaboration with Liquid Collective, contributing industry-leading blockchain infrastructure to support a more resilient, diverse liquid staking network. As an institutional-grade Node Operator, Blockdaemon will receive a portion of the Protocol Service Fee. This fee is automatically deducted from ETH network rewards at protocol level and is distributed in LsETH.

Additionally, Blockdaemon will also become a member of Liquid Collective's Node Operator Working Group, collaborating to define standards, benchmarks, and SLAs with industry experts.

How Blockdaemon Supports Liquid Collective As A Node Operator

As of June 2024, Liquid Collective's Total Value Locked (TVL) is over $296M, with over 2.7k active validators, and an underlying supply of over 87k ETH.

As a Node Operator, Blockdaemon is committed to maintaining the high standards set by Liquid Collective. These standards are met by Blockdaemon's proven performance, and advanced security measures.

"Our addition to the Liquid Collective active set of Node Operators highlights Blockdaemon's commitment to supporting a decentralized and resilient liquid staking network, maintaining the high Node Operator standards within the Liquid Collective ecosystem with industry-leading infrastructure. We're excited about our key role as a Node Operator, and becoming a member of Liquid Collective's Node Operator Working Group, underscoring our enthusiasm and long term commitment for joining Liquid Collective." - Konstantin Richter, Founder and CEO of Blockdaemon.

The addition of Blockdaemon's infrastructure further diversifies Liquid Collective's active set of Node Operators, contributing to a more decentralized and resilient liquid staking network. This reduces dependency on a single entity and enhances the protocol's resilience against potential disruptions.
