DOE Office of Electricity Selects Inaugural Storage Acceleration Voucher Recipients

On August 9, 2024, the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Electricity (OE) announced the selection of 12 Storage Acceleration Voucher recipients. The Storage Acceleration Vouchers, a new tool to help address challenges with energy storage technology and deployment, will provide recipients with various services equivalent to 40 hours of work with national lab experts. More specifically, the vouchers may support commercialization strategy support, market assessment support, technical modeling and analysis, and testing and performance validation.
