New—Fusion HCM helps you meet candidates where they are

Name, address, work history, education, references. Repeat. Repeat again.
For job seekers, entering the same information over and over into multiple applications is a huge pain. If your organization wants to attract more and better applicants through an improved candidate experience, simplifying this frustrating process is a must.
Fortunately, Oracle Fusion Cloud Recruiting-part of Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM-is making it possible to do just that. New Direct Apply functionality will connect Oracle Recruiting with talent marketplaces like LinkedIn and Indeed so candidates can easily apply for jobs using information from their profiles to populate application fields without ever leaving the partner site. By making this process easier for candidates, your organization will receive more high-quality applications.
How it works
The Direct Apply partner category creates a two-way integration between Oracle Recruiting and partnered talent marketplaces. Candidates will be able to apply for jobs quickly and easily without leaving the marketplace, and your organization will get candidate profiles and job applications in Oracle Recruiting that are populated with clean, complete data.
If you're familiar with Oracle Recruiting's existing partner categories for assessments, background checks, tax credits, profile imports, and job distributions, you'll be reassured to know Direct Apply follows similar integration standards and processes.
Here's how it works:
Using Oracle Recruiting, your recruiters post jobs as part of their normal flow of work. The partner initiates all data transfers, so it automatically retrieves the job requisitions and application instructions, including unique prescreening and EEQ questions, and posts them to its marketplace.
Candidates find and fill out job applications on the marketplace using personal information, work history, and education in their existing profiles.
After applications are submitted, complete candidate profiles and job applications are returned to Oracle Recruiting where your recruiters can review and take action on them.
The partner retrieves status updates from Oracle Recruiting, so candidates can check the progress of their applications on the marketplace where they applied.
LinkedIn and Bayt, a recruiting site for the Middle East, are the first talent marketplaces to deliver complete integrations, coming this quarter with Release 24D. Indeed plans to follow by early 2025. Vivian Health, a specialized healthcare industry marketplace for nursing, is also planning an integration.
Why you should consider Direct Apply
These new partnerships and the Direct Apply functionality can help your organization to:
Streamline the application process: When candidates can complete an entire job application and check its status without leaving their preferred marketplace, they save time. And your organization benefits by minimizing drop-offs, taking in more-complete applications, and making a better first impression.
Expand your talent pool: By partnering with general talent marketplaces as well as industry- and region-specific ones, Oracle Recruiting helps you reach more candidates and target workers with hard-to-find skills.
Reduce the cost of hiring: Direct Apply is bundled into Oracle Recruiting. There's no price increase or additional subscription fee, and it eliminates the cost of building custom integrations, further lowering the cost of each hire.
Summing up
When job applicants become frustrated providing the same information over and over, your organization gets incomplete applications and fewer candidates. To start improving the quantity and quality of your candidate applications, eliminate the repetition with Direct Apply partnerships. The partner category launches in 24C, and the LinkedIn and Bayt integrations with Oracle Recruiting are available this quarter with Release 24D.
