L.A. Sound Machine and Selena The Show to Dazzle Crowds at the Palmdale Amphitheater

PALMDALE, CA - Palmdale residents are invited to bring their dancing shoes to the Palmdale Amphitheater for L.A. Sound Machine and Selena The Show's dazzling performance on Saturday, Aug. 24. Don't miss this last performance of Palmdale's summer concert series!

L.A. Sound Machine is the premier Gloria Estefan tribute band on the West Coast, celebrating her legendary career with performances of her greatest hits from the Miami Sound Machine era and her Grammy Award-winning solo work, which has been influential since the 1980s. From dance hits like "Rhythm is Gonna Get You" to "Conga!" and Latin favorites "Mi Tierra" and "Wepa," this 8-piece band meticulously recreates the fun and energy of a Gloria Estefan concert.

Joining them on stage is Karla Perez, renowned for her exceptional tribute to Selena. Over the past nine years, Perez has earned acclaim as the leading Selena tribute artist in both the United States and Mexico. Her performance, accompanied by a stellar band, will feature Selena's iconic hits such as "Como La Flor" and "Dreaming of You," delivering an electrifying trip back to the '90s with precision and reverence.

"In honor of the Amphitheater's 20-year anniversary, we are offering a 2 for $20 ticket sale for this upcoming concert," said Mayor Austin Bishop. "Palmdale is thrilled to host L.A. Sound Machine and Selena The Show for an epic night of Latin music and a celebration for the community to enjoy."

The concert will take place rain or shine at the Palmdale Amphitheater, located at 2723 Rancho Vista Blvd. Gates open at 6 p.m. and the concert starts at 8 p.m. Guests are encouraged to arrive at least one hour early, as the seating is festival-style on the grass and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, early arrivals can take advantage of free parking and delicious on-site concessions, including beer and wine. Please note that pets are not allowed, with the exception of service animals.

"The summer concert series this year has been absolutely amazing," said Mayor Pro Tem Richard J. Loa. "I have personally enjoyed seeing so many of our residents come together and celebrate as a united community over these last couple of months. I hope residents join us for another fun and affordable night out!"
