Application Deadline for gBETA Greeley Accelerator Program Approaches

Free program for startups promises mentorship and access to investors.

GREELEY, Colo. - The City of Greeley encourages local entrepreneurs and startups to apply for gBETA Greeley, a free, no equity seven-week business accelerator program. Operated by global startup accelerator gener8tor, in collaboration with the City of Greeley, the program is designed to foster innovation and support early-stage businesses in the region. Applications are open until September 30 and should be submitted on www.gener8tor.com/gbeta/greeley.

The gBETA Greeley accelerator offers participating startups intensive coaching and access to a national network of mentors, customers, corporate partners and investors. The program aims to bolster Greeley's entrepreneurial ecosystem by helping local companies launch products, generate initial revenue and explore funding options to meet critical milestones. By participating in gBETA, startups will be well-positioned to continue their growth through additional equity-based accelerator programs and investment opportunities.

The Fall 2024 cohort, set to begin on October 16, will include five startups selected by gener8tor. Program activities will be hosted at the Ambry coworking space in downtown Greeley, 716 16th Street.

"The City of Greeley is committed to building a thriving environment where innovative businesses can succeed," said Derrek Jerred, economic development manager for the City of Greeley. "We're excited to work with gener8tor to select our first cohort of startups and help these businesses grow, establish roots and thrive here in Greeley."

The five startups selected for the Fall 2024 cohort will be announced during the gBETA Kickoff Party on October 16, from 4-7 p.m. at the Atlas Theater, 709 16th Street. This free, public event will feature inspiring talks and networking opportunities for the local business community.

Entrepreneurs interested in applying for the program or learning more about gBETA Greeley are encouraged to visit the program's website for details.
