A new stacked course, DN A407/607 - Preventive & Therapeutic Nutrition, will be available in the spring 2025 semester.
The course will discuss food and nutrition across a range of life stages. The course will also examine the role of food and nutrition in the prevention and management of acute and chronic conditions/diseases such as respiratory reactions, metabolic stress, gastrointestinal disorders, obesity, diabetes, heart disease, cancer, kidney and liver diseases, autoimmune diseases, cognitive impairment and osteoporosis.
