Highway Lane Closures
State Route 49

Amador County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various lane closures on State Route 49 (SR-49) for maintenance and construction operations. Work to occur as follows:

State Route 49

• Long-term, one-way traffic control at the Mokelumne River Bridge (Amador/Calaveras County line) for bridge work through Friday, January 31, 2025.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
