Best Southwest Juneteenth Celebration featuring Atlantic Starr
The City of Cedar Hill in collaboration with the Best Southwest cities is thrilled to announce a grand celebration in honor of Juneteenth. This highly anticipated event will bring together communities to celebrate freedom, diversity, and unity.
Scheduled for Saturday, June 15th, the celebration promises an unforgettable day of entertainment, art, and cultural enrichment.
Mayor Mason expressed enthusiasm, stating, "Juneteenth is a time for community unity, where we honor our past, embrace our present, and envision our future together. I'm thrilled to announce Atlantic Starr as our headline act. Their timeless music reflects themes of love, unity, and resilience, capturing the essence of Juneteenth. I encourage everyone to join us in celebrating this significant occasion and wearing white to symbolize unity."
The festivities kick off at 5:00 p.m. (gates will open at 4 p.m.) on June 15th at Valley Ridge Park (2850 Park Ridge Drive) in Cedar Hill, extending into the evening. Admission is entirely free, ensuring accessibility for families and individuals to partake in the fun.
