2021 Bismarck-Mandan MPO Title VI Update

The Bismarck-Mandan Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is proposing modifications to its Title VI Non-Discrimination/ADA Program Access Plan. The public has until 5pm Friday, August 13, 2021 to provide comment on the modifications. The purpose of the Title VI Plan is to identify the MPO's responsibilities in complying with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related regulations and statues (the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, and/or Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and all related regulations and statutes). The purpose of the public comment period is to provide an opportunity for public involvement in reviewing the proposed modifications to the Title VI Plan.

Furthermore, the public is notified that the proposed Title VI Plan will be available to view at the Bismarck Community Development Office, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, ND, beginning Wednesday, July 28, 2021.

The public is invited to submit written comments to the MPO no later than 5pm Friday, August 13, 2021 to P.O Box 5503, Bismarck, ND 58506. Written comments should be directed to Stephen Larson and faxed to 701-222-6450 or sent to the above mailing address. Written comments may also be submitted via email to [email protected]. E-mail comments should be identified as public input on the proposed modifications to the Title VI Plan.
