Matariki Adult Paper Weaving

Join The ReCreators commemorating the Māori New Year by embracing the ancient tradition of weaving.

We will use two weaving techniques: Weaving Matariki motifs using colourful paper strips plus we will also use small cardboard looms to create a woven square.

This is a mindful workshop that is great for connecting communities and is designed for adults.

The ReCreators are on a mission to show the world how to reduce and reuse our natural resources. It's easy, fun, creative, and sustainable.
