Launch of 'DOW JONES YOMIURI SHIMBUN Pro' unites two successful news brands to create a premium Japanese newswire platform that serves professional users

Tokyo - [December 17, 2024] The Yomiuri Shimbun Holdings and Dow Jones today announced a multi-year partnership to launch a co-branded Japanese business news service 'DOW JONES YOMIURI SHIMBUN Pro'.

Set to launch in early 2025, the two leading news organizations will co-develop a new Japanese-language product that offers an enhanced news experience to serve corporate and institutional business professionals.

'DOW JONES YOMIURI SHIMBUN Pro' will provide unrivalled news coverage combining Yomiuri Shimbun's extensive reporting network in Japan, and select global financial and business news in Japanese and English from Dow Jones Newswires, Barron's, MarketWatch, Investor's Business Daily, OPIS energy news and curated content from The Wall Street Journal.

Built on a custom tech stack, Dow Jones's AI translation into Japanese is supported by linguistic and subject-matter expertise that delivers news, analysis and data with scale, speed, consistency and precision.
