A traffic shift in West Point on SR 18 is Planned for September 21, 2024


WEST POINT, GA- A traffic shift will be initiated on 9-21-24. Traffic will be placed into the roundabout configuration at SR 103, SR 18, I-85 northbound and I-85 southbound ramps. This shift is needed so the section of the roadway which is currently used as the left turn lane onto I-85 NB & SB can be reconstructed. The signals at the ramps will be removed, and traffic will be able access the on ramps and off ramps thru the roundabout configuration. Signs, striping and pavement markings will facilitate traffic until the center and islands can be constructed for each roundabout.

What: A traffic shift will be initiated on 9-21-24. Traffic will be placed into the roundabout configuration at SR103, I-85 northbound and I-85 southbound ramps.

When: Begins Saturday, September 21, 2024
