Let's dive into Adobe Express for Webflow and find out how it can transform your approach to creating compelling visuals that drive conversions!

What is Adobe Express for Webflow?

Webflow is a visual-first web design tool that lets you create, optimize, and scale responsive websites without having to write any code. It acts as a bridge between traditional website templates and manual coding, enabling its users to design custom layouts, animations, and interactions.

By integrating Adobe Express - the quick and easy AI-powered create-anything app - into Webflow, we're bringing powerful image generation, creation and enhancement capabilities directly into the Webflow editor. For example, you can generate an image from a simple text prompt to quickly enhance your website design. Or use reference images to influence and match the structure of generated variations.

With Adobe Express for Webflow, you can also edit images that already exist in your designs. For example, you can crop or resize an image, adjust the opacity, apply filters, or remove the background. By using Generative Fill, powered by Adobe Firefly, you can add missing objects to your images or remove unwanted distractions.

Adobe Express's AI features, built right into the app for Webflow, are designed to be commercially safe and allow you to create content with confidence. Adobe Express for Webflow also enables you to jump-start your inspiration by giving you access to millions of royalty-free Adobe Stock photos, videos, music tracks, and design elements. As it's all integrated with Webflow, it makes workflows fast and intuitive.

"Webflow is introducing AI into how sites are built, launched and optimized, through our own product development and with ecosystem integrations, through partnerships with industry leaders. We're excited to welcome the power of Adobe Express, which helps teams scale their creative production workflows and create compelling content."

Examples of use cases for Adobe Express for Webflow

There are four actions Webflow users can take once they have installed Adobe Express:

Generate an image

Once logged in, choose 'Generate Image' to bring up Adobe Express's Text-to-Image module and describe the image you'd like to create with a text prompt. You are then presented with four variations and can either choose one of them to save it back into Webflow or continue to edit it with Adobe Express.

Or if none of the four variations is quite right, edit your prompt and hit 'Refresh' to re-generate the image. The saved image will appear under 'Assets' in Webflow and can be added to your design project.

Edit an image

Select a specific image that you'd like to edit and choose 'Edit Image' to bring up Adobe Express's Edit Image module. Here you can try out different visual effects, crop the image, tweak the opacity, and more. Make the edits that you want, and then either open up the image in Adobe Express or save it in Webflow.

Create a new image

You can also create a new image from scratch. Choose 'create new image' to open up the full Adobe Express editor, where you can also explore thousands of professionally designed templates to kickstart a new project. Save your image back to Webflow and either add it straight to your design project or save it for later.

Remove a background

To remove the background from an image, select an element in your design and then choose 'Remove background'. Then just save the image with the background removed, and it will be added automatically to Webflow's Assets folder.
